Sheaffer Craftsman Ii Repair

How do I go about repairing this Craftsman? I managed to easily take out the nib unit, but am stuck on taking out the packing at the base of the barrel. Also, what parts would I need to make it function again?

I believe you will need the parts shown here - one gasket, one retaining washer, and one plunger washer https://www.vintagepensacsandparts.com/product.php/300/2/sheaffer_vac_fill_repair_gasket_and_washers_kit Im sure US suppliers have the same.

Thanks for the reply! I had a general idea of what to do next, but you clarified which size of parts I need, as well as the size of the drill.
