Wow, congrats! I hadn't looked at this thread before, and in fact I just purchased my first MB: A vintage 146 with a flexible nib. For better or worse, your pictures of all of these incredible vintage MBs are making me consider purchasing more in the future..... :D

That blue one is particularly striking.

Thank you! And what a wonderful choice with the celluloid 146!

Here’s the latest addition to my collection. A No. 25 with 12 facets made in Denmark. These pens are popularly found in their brown or green marbled variants. The black is less common in my opinion.

One of my favorite Montblanc designs! I still have to find mine ;-)

Interesting cap top. Looks like an inlay star on top!?

Cheers

Vintage Montblancs have not only a sense of history, but a depth to their writing that modern pens struggle to emulate. It's nice to see them so celebrated. Once I get some more time, I'll be sure to add my 146G to this eclectic mix.

Now, I'm at a loss to explain why a (presumably later) 234 1/2 would have the same Patent Angem piston filler as your 235 and my 334.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Montblanc-234-1-2PL-PAT-PEND-Celluloid-Fountain-Pen-1936-14C-M-Full-Flex-Nib/324314682339?hash=item4b82a953e3:g:rS0AAOSwKGRfdIXB

This is interesting, it probably means that it took a few years to get the patent issued, maybe 3-4 yrs during which the 235, 234, and maybe the first version of the 234 1/2 were produced (and your 334).

@siamackz Can you confirm that the "Collectible Stars" book has English text?

Or anyone else, if you know?

Thank you!

ETA:  I was able to zoom in on some of the ebay pics, and I can see it seems to be in both English and German. That works for me.

Yet another fine specimen to add to your world class collection. I wonder if MB itself has as comprehensive and pristine selection in their own reference selection of epic accomplishments. As i note ad infinitum, ad nauseum (i.e., with each and every post on vintage MB pens), "Why don't they make them like that anymore?"

Thank you, and I agree :)

Hello! This is a fantastic collection and it's wonderful to see familiar designs/models throughout the years. Thank you for sharing this with us!

May I ask if you happen to have information on the MB 224, the one that looks a little like Lamy 2000? I'm still looking for more information on it. Thank you.
