Oberthur Fountain Pen Identification

Hi I got this oberthur fountain pen at a car boot sale and would like to know more but cant find anything online. All it says on the nib is iridium point Germany.

Iridium point Germany only means someone bought the Iridium in Germany.

 

Could well be a Chinese pen...don't know. They like faking a German nib........once when the DM was low, Germany did make cheap Iridium Point Germany nibs......but that was a long time ago.

 

Is the pen metal??? Could be Chinese. Some of them are just fine....functions.

I know that some products are made in France but I am not sure about the pens; those might be outsourced. I have a few, and they're pretty well made, definitely a cut above Stypen and Creeks though not as nice as Jean Pierre Lepine (admittedly, at about half Lepine's prices).
