The Pen of the Year have many (including yours) that are very attractive to me. But, alas, they are beyond reach!

I agree about the Magnum; seems like an awkward departure from their trademark design, in order to appeal to the "proper pen must look like a suppository" crowd, while trying to retain their unique identity. It's a mess 😛

OTOH, I think the proportions of the Classic line fit the 'rustic' concept better; the more girthy and stubby, the more they remind me of a beer stein from some backcountry German fair 🙂

That's very funny. Thanks for the good laugh.

I find that the combination of the cigar shape and the usual squarish clip on the Magnum is particularly distasteful (for me).

But, then again, I much prefer flat top pens (which is not to say that I don't have quite a few of the "suppository" shape 🤣).
