Got this set today for $7.00 at an estate sale that actually started Thursday. Cleaned them out with hot water and inked them up. Still some deals out there! Both great writers.

Nice desk set. Are the pens P45's ?

A better price than what I paid for the P51 cordovan brown Vac desk set [ my first P51's ] I over paid, $10 at a small antique/cheese shop.

I have one of those desk pens. Gold nib. I think they are late 51s. Wondrous writers, especially if you like saving on ink.

Very nice find. Congrats! What kind of nibs do they have?

They are not gold. Size seems like fine. But really good writers. Using them to update my recipes in my recipe book.

Excellent usage! The food will taste better for it!

My children have been demanding I write them down. I have them on scrap paper, word files, etc... I should have done it along the way.

I know the OP's Specials' nibs aren't gold. Mine is the 14K nib version. Looks the same.

Nobody wants those hunks of stone on their desk anymore.

So they are commonly passed up.

Better for us to collect our share of these while they are passed up.
