Some background info on the "Ink Studio" line to those who arent familiar with Sailor will not know that they hold an "Ink Atelier" side business where you can make your own ink with the help of Ishimura Osamu who is Sailor's In house Ink maker. And since he probably gets busy every now and then, they decided to mass manufacture a selected number of Inks that was made from the side venture just to lighten the load on him so you got a total of 100 inks to choose from each available in 20ml and this is one of those 100 inks there are no names but number codes similar to what you get from getting an ink made from said side venture by Sailor this ink is coded 762 for that matter

does it make it a Miru-ai clone if it paints a red stain on anything it touches?

consensus err... I really didnt knew what to expect I bought it on a whim didnt thought it through and did we even have a review sample of any of the Ink Studio inks? thought not... maybe this is the first as I havent been on the forums for quite some time, seems to be a Miru-ai clone yet at some points looks like Hatobanezu its neither complex as I couldnt get a whiff of sheen on the ink nor does it transform like Rikyu-cha or Cigar for that matter...

but generally speaking if you want it to be a close to black color use it on a gusher you won't get any shading out of it just like the one I have experienced with Faber-Castell's M nib but on a drier pen you will get something out of it maybe get it in a broader point preferably M-B+ just dont expect something special about it though...

Thanks for explaining the Ink Studio line. One hundred inks in 20 ml bottles, with just a number, didn't make sense until you explain that these are from the Ink Clinics.

now I'm morbidly curious if the Cigar ink is included here if so which of those 100 inks would be the "it"

well ok I have access to a swab sample for these inks and 10-20 of those inks are in the green range

I don't suppose any of these inks are available outside Japan.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

exactly I'm not sure... I got them locally from our pen specialty store but its not cheap for the amount... 10$ ish converted since it was about 615PHP I was supposed to buy a Souboku but it was out of stock... might as well test an Ink Studio so that happened

considering we got all the Sailor inks but in the smaller packaging (the 4 seasons inks), I guess this is their way of fessing up
