Looking at your good and well-formed handwriting, I would guess that you will be very happy with a BB 149, of any period!

Good luck for the hunt.

thank you very much :D

gopens.com and peytonstreepens.com have nice examples of preowned and vintage 149s. Good luck in your 149 quest.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Total workhorse pen...an EDC.

It will be good to you if you are good to it.

Hello everyone I'm shopping for in the classifieds section at a good price one Mb 149 1900's used in near mint condition with fine nib.

You will be surprised that I could not find in B or BB :( and when they were available I did not have the XD money but I found this pen at an excellent price in the classfieds and I had to take the opportunity. :)
I do not think I will have much trouble with it being a fine nib I usually use wide nibs since they are quite juicy and for that reason they give me a pretty smooth feeling.
Wide Nibs I love for my personal notes, letters and practices etc but lately I have found myself at a disadvantage -_- because I do not know why in several places where I have to sign they give very poor quality papers and very small spaces  to write and therefore it is Hard to write with BB or B nib in those situations that are happening to me often.
So I want to think that a fine nib could be advantageous for those uncomfortable situations maybe I would have liked a medium nib but I did not find it and I found this one.
By the way I'm pretty excited that my pen comes to my house, I hope to have my pen soon.
