my comments, if useful:

I like your second to last version better with the black body and silver section.

The threads seem also better now.

I would probably prefer to see a silver coloured nib.

One aspect that is really decisive for me in the least possible step down from barrel to section, to the point that I may not buy a pen if the step down is excessive.

This is subjective, I know, problem is I hold pens quite far up so if my fingers are on the step, writing is unbearably uncomfortable.

This has a consequence on pen design, essentially pens with body and cap which are flush and aligned look aesthetically good, but are not for me, a step down will be there unavoidably.

Pens in which the cap screws over the barrel body often look less sleek, but they will be my preferred design. Ideally no step down at all, and no threads is fantastic, but there are so very few designs that solve this point elegantly and efficiently, so many of my pens have threaded caps and then the important point is that the threads must be smooth and not sharp (Pelikans for example).

Very nice looking design, the second to last in particular, I would suggest comparing what people can get at this price, in my case (yet another!) Pelikan m205 or vintage m140, parker 75, and adress the typical issued people might have, such as how that section feels in hand, nib smoothness, reliability and durability. Once people have enough skin in the game and actually commit to buying, it might me a better business model than producing it to see if it sells...
