Unknown Schneider Pen

Hello everyone!

I am having a hard time searching for and tracking a vintage children's fountain pen from back in 1994-1997 when I was in high school. The popular brands back then were Pelikan, Reynolds, Schneider, Inoxcrom, Stabilo etc etc.

The pen had 2 color combinations with different variants. The color combinations :

1. Forest green Body and Purple Grip section,

2. Yellow Body and purple Grip Section,

3. Black Body and yellow Grip Section(not sure but probably).

Pen Description

Disclaimer Im not soliciting the next pen, but the pen I'm searching for looks very much like the Tiliner kickstarter minimalist fountain pen only with the above color combinations.

It would be super awesome if someone can post pictures or tell me the name of this pen. Please excuse me because I dont recall the exact name but Im assuming it was a Schneider Children's fountain pen.

Thank you for reading this far and hope to hear from all of you soon.

Thank you every one for taking your time to read this post, I dont know how to change the topic of this post because I'm glad to say I have found the pen I was talking about in this post.

its been almost 23 years when I last saw/wrote with this pen... and Finally the big moment is here.

It's the infamous Pentel JF400 cartridge converter pen,

On inspection of the cartidge inside, the sands of time had left traces of an era gone by with dried up ink.

Nib - western Fine-Medium IMO

Ink - Diamine Blood Orange.

Check pictures.

Thanks again, If anyone knows how to change the Title of this post, please let me know.

Thanks again for reading this short review, have a great day.

Congrats - always nice to find what you were looking for. When I was a kid I had a very nice green mechanical pencil. Many moons ago it was lost during a relocation. Wasn't really sure of brand or model, until I was searching for a Parker 21 FP and stumbled upon a pen and pencil set. Do I need to mention that there is a green 21 pencil on my desk right now ;)

That Pentel JF400 (or its other coloured version - black with pink or violet accents if memory serves me correctly) was literally first fountain pen I've ever held in my hands, I was 7 y/o kid back then. I thought I'll never see it again or find what it was ;)

I wonder if it's still possible to buy it brand new somewhere.

I have one of these Pentel JF-400's as well. I bought a Fabel-Castell cartridge thinking that it would fit it, but it does not seem to. Are you using a cartridge or converter for this?

Just for fun, I asked Gemini:

"The Pentel JF-400 uses a special type of cartridge called the "JF芯" (JF core). These cartridges are specifically designed for this pen model and are not compatible with other pen types."

You have to figure out if the answer is correct. A mail to Pentel might help.
