Platinum Ink - Violet

PR has a huge line up so it would not be fair to say that they are all wet or dry. I can say that Tanzanite is WET WET WET.

 

I agree. They have like a zillion colours available. Unfortunately here in India I have seen William Penn houses their Inks. I don't go out that often so I have seen only a few stores. I have only 2 shades - One I remember is Orange Crush and that is really Wet. The other is a Blue Shade but I do not remember the name.

 

I recently purchased Lamy (Vibrant Pink) and it is good but somehow I am still leaning towards the Platinum Violet. its surprising beautiful.

Private Reserve Plum is currently more like Hot Pink, unfortunately. Nowhere close to the preppy. See my post comparing new and old formulations on Inky Thoughts.

Hey there, 

I know it was for a long time ago, but just in case you are still curious, I just used a preppy violet cartridge and like you I really fell for it. 

but I know I have nearly the same ink, the inks you are looking for are: Montegrappa fuchsia  and Noodler's cactus fruit eel 

I have all three inks and I have written with them side by side, I know they are virtually the same color.
