Sheaffer’S Compact With Matching Pencil

This is the on that started it all for me. From my father, maybe from his father. 1960 Canadian Compact with pencil. I dont see too many shots of these sets so I thought Id share. I still use it occasionally.

 

This started the addiction!

I have had many of the compact pens, but have never seen the matching pencil. I especially like the ones with the window in the barrel. Nice set!

Are there Sheaffer Comp desk pens? I saw a desk pen with those windows and was very confused.

I also own the compact in burgundy with the ink window. I have a real fondness for compact pens. I also own several Sheaffer Tuck-Away's and Pilots wonderful pocket pens, the Myu 701's.

I have the same pen/pencil set from 1966. The clips on my set do not have Sheaffer's engraved on them but do have the white dot. Pencil has some wear but works fine. They are for sale if anyone interested, not a collector just have too much stuff.

Sorry the above pen is from 1961, my other Sheaffer set is from 1966.
