Looks good in the picture -- but no breather hole may make filling a chore?

Not at all - the current flex ones fill just fine.

When will they be available? That looks like it will seriously flex.

No it won't. Breather holes have no bearing on filling or air exchange.

Has anyone received this yet? This might be the closest thing to a vintage flex for a modern flex nib.

I've tried the flex from FPR and it's decent. Adding the contour at the sides (similar to Conklin) might do wonders for flex writing.

I got it today and just had time to dip the #6 before heading out.

It's a little early but it could be the best out-of-the-box stainless #6 so far.

(Better than the Ahab)

Haven't tried the #5 yet.

Congrats!

I don't think they won't have a problem with line variation capability, but is there ink starvation? And also is the snap back of the flex quick?

Does the #6 fit into a Jowo housing?

Edison Beaumont + FPR Ultra-Flex #6 & KWZ green #3

Edison is the North American distributer for JoWo and an FPR nib will fit perfectly.

As you probably know, the JoWo has a "D" shaped holder which clocks the nib at 12 while the flat shelf is a 6.

A 6.3 mm FPR flex feed works well but needs to be reduced in diameter slightly and sanded flat on the bottom.

That's what I'm using for this pen.

My Konrad ebonite is nibless at present. I might try one of these.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Thanks, Nail Bender. I can always count on you to know what's up in the flex world!

I'll definitely be getting at least one of each size.
