What's Up With Berlin?

Oh, I'm well aware that nobody can beat Cult Pens.

And I usually only buy if it is cheap :) .

However, when I am on a trip I like to bring home a pen as a memento and, in that case, it is ok to pay a little more.

+1

I get the memento bit, in which case get a pen/model only available for the German market rather than a generic model that can be procured elsewhere a lot cheaper.

Moranga has some Pelikans for sale at the moment as well as Caran d'Ache and they just got in inks from the Kyo No-Oto & the Kyo Iro line.

Any idea of Pelikan pricing?

Didn't know they stocked Cd'A. Is it an extensive range or just a few pens?

There are just a handful and when I was there on Saturday I did not pay too much attention to the Pelikans but they were 10-20 % off, depending on the size. CdA is a brand I am not really familiar with, I think they are on close-out, rather slim pens, silver + guilloche pattern. (Please do no embarrass me and ask for the model ... ).

It is not an extensive range but there are a few shelves with pens you do not find readily available elsewhere in Berlin, like Vanishing Points / Decimos, Sailors, TWSBI etc. I mostly pay attention to the inks when I go there B)

My only find from the flea markets, a brown tortoise 400, for a price which is impossible to buy even a m200 cap alone :bunny01:
