Just curious, can anyone tell me about the Waterman 402 vintage fountain pen?

I've never owned one, but the 402 was an ebonite eyedropper with a sterling silver overlay. It was a relatively slender pen with a #2 nib and a straight cap, meaning the cap closed against a step from the section to the body of the pen.

There were a variety of designs offered and you can usually find some of them on offer on vintage pen dealers' websites with more information. Even in mediocre condition, they can be quite valuable.

Vin Diesel gives Michael Caine one in THE LAST WITCH HUNTER in one of the only movie scenes I know of where characters specifically discuss details about vintage pens.

Thanks so much for that info, Z-Tab. That very movie, THE LAST WITCH HUNTER, is exactly where I first learned about the vintage Parker 402 fountain pen which made me curious to learn a little more about it. You've answered my question to my satisfaction. Again.....thank you!
