I wouldn't mind a Dialog 3 in Agate with chrome trim. ;)

I would love to know if the bottle has the same funnel as the present ones.

Beryl and Benitoite look great. I wouldn't mind trying a sample of the pink color either.

Has, er, anyone told Lamy that Pelikan kinda already have dibs on the whole precious stone-inspired ink thing? He-he.

The funny fact is that many minerals can have a huge variety of colors depending on the trace elements inside the crystal structure.

Each brand has their own shade for a particular color. More the merrier...

True enough. I had an argument with a friend of mine over "emerald" after seeing the OS L Frank Baum ink. Not any sort of emerald *I've* ever seen (including -- years ago -- a magnificent emerald and diamond necklace in the window at Harry Winston's in NYC while I was on the bus back down to Grand Central Station). But my friend, who is a jeweler by avocation, said that he's seen emeralds that are very blue-green looking.

Emeralds have indeed a spektrum from yellow-green to blue-green. But the intense green stones are for most people the most desirable.

Emeralds are actually the same mineral as aquamarine. Both are beryl. Rubies and saphires are the same - corundum. Garnet is the basis for many different gem stones.

I expected it to be £6.49/6.99, as it is 30ml.

Me too. Seems like Lamy has been taking notes from Sailor.

Wonder why didnt they name them after the colours of the Months ?

That way all Lamy fanboys / fangirls would need at least twelve pens and twelve inks.

That's genius! I'd crave to have my month and those of my family members.

Don't give them ideas!

I guess some people will never be satisfied.

Pricing is subjective. I'll hold judgement until the reviews.

Diamine 30ml (with a far extensive color range than Lamy) is £2.35 so £6.49/6.99 is generous, IMO.

Anyone knows of there is any chance of cartridges for these colors?

I doubt it. I wonder if these will actually be available in Germany and surrounding German speaking countries.
