Eco-T's Triangular Grip

I'm a lefty with an oddly angled grip, where the nib ends up aimed almost at my right shoulder when I write. With the placement and angle I hold my pens Lamy triangular grips just don't work for me. However the Pilot Kakuno does, because the nib unit can be rotated (unlike the Lamy).

So: is the nib unit in the Eco-T set in place in relation to the section, or like the Kakuno can it be rotated (slightly) to accommodate my weirdo writing style?

I think the Eco's are like other TWSBI's where the inside of the section is shaped for the nib and feed to only go in one place. So I don't think you can rotate the nib. The normal Eco has a more rounded section for your fingers and the three lobes are really just at the end. I would suggest going with that instead of the T version.

Thanks. I haven't owned a TWSBI before, in part because I like to swap inks a lot, but after getting a Kakuno I realized I liked the triangular grip (as long as it was adjustable). So I don't think I'll get any Ecos for now, though I did leave my email with GouletPens for a heads-up when the $19 TWSBI Go! comes in. That's the price-point where I don't mind experimenting, and $19 for a piston-filler would be interesting to see....

I'm pretty sure you can orient the nib and feed however you like on the Eco-T - that's certainly the case for the Eco. Maybe confirm with an online retailer before you buy?
