Why not just slip pen into your bra like many do with their mobile telephone.

A ringtop is a lovely idea, but you could also look for a lanyard that would hold most any pen. I use this one:

(or maybe the other colour, I'm not sure which!) mostly at work with a gel pen (too much writing on thermal paper), but occasionally around the house with my fountain pens, too, and it's great.

edited to add: no affiliation with Anderson Pens, just happened to buy my own from them, so knew where to find a photo. :)

I have one and it isn't quite long enough for me. Glad that it works for you.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

That’s rather personal, isn’t it?

I did not realise that.

In use, perhaps, but not on show.

Anyway, there's things that happen when you get older that would sometimes result in ludicrous and embarrassing searches through one's smalls.

I'll stick with the sautoir, thanks.

I couldn't agree more. I just observed American forums are just a little bit more prudish. I personaly found nothing wrong or "personal" about your recommendation. It's a piece of cloth.

@Amory I lack the shape to support such a practical solution, but I appreciate the suggestion none-the-less. ;)

My feelings about my body aside, I’d still rather not have to plunge a hand inside my neckline and grope around for my pen during a production meeting.

It is impractical indeed.

I found one that was custom made with white marblish material. It's a rollerball.
