Sheaffer Demonstration Ballpoint

I am a new member and thank you for letting me join the group. I would like to ask for an opinion of a Sheaffer ballpoint demo model.

The second picture is similar to the pen I have at home. It is not a picture of my pen it is a picture I obtained off Google. My pen is in the first picture on it's own. I have done some more research and I believe it to be very early Sheaffer demo. any comments would be appreciated

Welcome to the Fountain Pen Network. Sorry, unable to comment on the ballpoint or the other pen due to a lack of pictures. Perhaps you could research it a little on your own to determine which model it is. Some pens no longer have refills made which fit them, but, their may be an adapter available in that case to fit it with a surrently produced refill. Some "demonstrators" are not actually demonstrators, but instead are simply school pens or other low cost pens that were simply made out of clear plastic as a way to catch the purchasers eye and are worth very little, but some are early pens and are true demonstrators with some worth.

If you are new to FPN your picture uploading abilities are severely limited for security reasons.

As a Bronze member you can attach pictures using the Full Editor. There you will find a button to choose a picture from your computer to add to your post. This method has a very limited capacity!

After a number of days (used to be 7, but that may be changed to 10 or 30) you can use the UPLOAD button, in the bar top of the page...)

I removed that link, as not everybody wants to go to Facebook.

Also it is very unwise to post your home email here.

 

 

If you want an opinion about that Sheaffer BP, you make a new topic in either the Sheaffer forum, or in the "It writes, but it's not a founteain pen" forum.

And add some pictures, like I described.
