Here's showing the white 616 Plus re assembled with a hood from the classic 616 and a classic 19.5mm ( classic 616 spec ) calligraphy nib put onto it, showing the bend of the nib having an obvious out bound distance from that of the hood tip instead of being right next to it. The other two are classic 616 in the less common Black Green ( hard to tell in the photo ) and the Rice Bran Grey colour

Are the sacs PVC?

 

Or are the silicone?

 

If they are PVC, then I am having an idea...........................

616 Plus use C/C filing so no sac ... classic 616 use old style fixed ink sac and I believe they are of the silicone type

Thank you so much for this detailed thread! It's really helpful as I'm trying to find a good hooded nib pen that I can take care of when I go back to school. I appreciate the clear pictures and explanations.

Don't think I am seeing them around lately but I'll check .. if I got any I will update here

Well i managed to buy a Wing Sung 3006 in the end after about a full year of search they appear on Aliexpress and i bought one . :)

I love Fountain Pens, with hooded nib in the classic style, Parker 51/61 type .
