As others have noted, you seem to have some nice fountain pens there. Be aware that many will probably need to be repaired before they can be used. And, from what folks here on FPN have been saying for years, an investment in repairing a fountain pen can really pay off if you're selling it.

I also see some Rapidographs in there, not worth much, I think, and some mechanical pencils, which may be worth something to a collector of those writing instruments.

I'd say look through everything, and don't get too muscular in opening pens up or getting resistant caps off. Some of those things are going to be delicate and may break if you apply enough force.

I can't say if the lot is worth more or less than $400 worth of tractor parts, but you have a nice lot to look through there. Good luck with it  and :W2FPN: .

A great score. You'll enjoy these more than old tractor parts. I think I see a Parker 51 Demi? And that old BCHR (Black Chased Hard Rubber) pen with the gold band can be made to look crisp and black again thanks to Mark Hoover. :)

I think I have picked out which ones I am going to keep if anyone wants any of the others I will put them in the trade section if I can figure out how to do it! Thanks for all the help guys !

The gold one has a pencil that has the same design somewhere in there also.

You need 30 posts not in chatter and there are limits to how many you can put up in a day or week with out paying a small fee to be 'professional'.....I don't know, I've not done so....but have thought about it.

I'd really take more time....in you have so many nice looking pens....and I don't know what many are. I've been here for some 10 years, but mostly do German pens. I do look and read the normal 'What is this pen' questions.

As a 'noobie' you might let pens get away, you'd later regret.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Agree entirely with Bo Bo on cutting any of them loose. They're presumably all used, so re-inking them isn't going to reduce their value. Thus, I'd try each one of them for at least a month, and better three or more (like I also suggest people try any new cheap pens they buy as part of their exploration of the hobby) . There isn't going to be any way for you to tell which of those pens are going to really jangle your bangles except by trying them.
