Hi guys,

I am in a confusion regarding my next purchase. I want a full metallic fountain pen and the Kaweco AL sport and the lilliput caught my attention. A month ago I bought my first Kaweco Skyline Sport and I am really impressed with Kaweco Fountain Pen. Those who own any of these two pens or any one of them please suggest me which one should I buy and state your reasons. My sole intention is to buy a full metallic robust pen that would last a long time.

Thanks in advance.

The Liliput is indestructible! If you find yourself feeling fine with small pens then I would suggest get the Liliput, maybe the AL Black. I own one for 8 (?) years now, often sit on it, as it is my wallet pen and clipped to it. So although it is often carried around in my jeans' backpocket, I never had it leaking. It does not even have a scratch or a dent on it, the white imprint on the top of the cap is still as good as new. Amazing!

Another plus is that you can swap nibs between the Sport and the Liliput models even though it is not officially possible. The nib and feed are only friction fit, so you do _NOT_ have to screw out the nib unit (nib + feed + collar). That way it is possible to get the calligraphy nibs to fit into your Liliput or Sport as well as any regular nib offered for these models for ca. 10€/$.
