Agree with you... Last year I heard several stories of hubmasters with out of pocket expenses for bigger hubs. Pelikan is VERY smart in assigning more than one hub master to the largest hubs.

Word.

I usually spend about $400 (in leather for pen quivers and pen rolls, ink, fp paper, and dollar pens from Pakistan.) I also buy name tags, vials for ink, syringes/transfer pipettes. A a giant honking Cheesecake Factory cheesecake,

I will be at the one in Brussels, it will be my second one. Nice idea from pelikan to organise them, even if they are not my favorite brand ;)

Maybe this one will help me pulling the trigger for an m805 streseman, who knows....

So I'd registered for Palo Alto out of curiosity because this really sounds awesome... but is it weird to attend if you don't own (and have never owned) a Pelikan? Is that okay? I'm still new and trying not to buy too much before I figure out what there is to like and dislike about various pens, and what my personal feelings are

Nevermind me! I'm just an inkling, a mere pigment of your imagination...

Not at all... Out my extensive pen collection... I only have one pelikan, is an old vintage one 1930's.. I mean, I don't even count the pelikano... LOL...

Just come and enjoy the people, the pens.. .the conversation... A lot of people don't have pelikans.

The majority of people at the hub I attended last year didnt own a Pelikan. I have a few and plan to bring some so people can try them out.

Hello All.

Julia here from beautiful, downtown Springtown, Ontario.

I had a computer glitch. My note from HubMaster in Ottawa dropped off the planet.

Much appreciated if someone could help with email address or a way to contact.

I'll be at the London (UK) hub — I'm back up to two Pelikans now, an Ocean Swirl and M400 White Tortoiseshell, down from a peak of five!

I would like to attend the one in Edinburgh, Scotland, but just heard about this yesterday, from one my customers I repair pens for. I've sent a message to Pelikan, do you think I will be able attend, being as the registration is now closed ?

Pelikan has been trying to help with this but it is also challenging since Hub masters have had to seek out venues for x amount of people. It's quite a challenge for some venues. Hopefully Pelikan can help. The alternate would be to try and contact the local Hub master directly. You could start by looking at the event's Facebook page. Good luck.

Hello everyone. If youre interested, the Pelikan Hubs team in Hanover allowed me the opportunity to interview them about the event. I asked a series of 20 questions and present the answers just as they came from Germany. I hope that it might be of some general interest to you. You can read about it at https://wp.me/p4XMw3-1KX.

Thank for doing this, sargetalon. :) I'm looking forward to listening to it.

Do you mind if I share the link elsewhere?

I'm the HubMaster for Vancouver, Canada again :)

Just curious if any HubMasters have received notification from Pelikan that the Hub

gifts have been shipped??

The Hub is 10 days away and I'm getting a bit worried as the stuff usually comes from the U.S. distributor and has to clear Canada Customs (which may take a while)....

I havent heard anything either (Salt Lake city hubmaster). There are a few people in the FB group who received their boxes but they didnt say anything about notifications from Pelikan (and I think they were European).
