I have disassembled a couple of hooded pens, not that one though. Usually the section must be screwed off, then pull out the feed and nib. They can be tight so you may have to carefully push the nib against table the same time you pull from the end of the feed. Dried ink can act like a glue, so keep the pen somewhat moist. The nib is somehow attached to the feed, but it should be possible to remove.

There are other ways than the easiest one too.

Well if its only the nib its fairly straightforward; just pull it off from the front end its just friction fitted. If though you need to disassemble the section assembly its a lot harder. These slim section hooded nib use a screw in or push in coupler that locked the integral ink collector / feed in place and the only way to get them out is to pull / unscrew the coupler from the barrel side end.

Re: Mech-for-i & Fountainer:

Thanks for the tips . Here are 2 more pics of this hooded pen . As you can see, the section is in one piece ! I imagine I can either pull the nib out or push the feed back down the section . I am waiting for advices before doing anything risky . I really like this pen as its nib is very smooth and on the wet side which suits me just fine .

If there's nothing wrong with the nib, as it's nice and wet and suits you just fine, then I would leave it alone. Think of the old adage "If it ain't broke don't fix it." Nibs and feeds don't need to be removed in order to clean pens.

The current nib is M size . I want to change to an EF nib and I have one available . But your advice is a good one in most cases ,though . ... Thanks.
