Townsend In Sterling Silver

Recommended Posts

In February 2017 I asked on this forum if anyone knew if Cross still made the Townsend model in sterling silver as I could not find it mentioned anywhere in their

current range. I think since then the ownership of the company has changed but still no sign of this version in their current catalogue. Can we assume the top end

Townsend will no longer be available as your moderator at the time thought it was a hiatus in production but 15 months later I still can't find it mentioned.

When Rhode Island factory closed down and production moved to China does anyone know if there is a contact email address in USA for Cross.

AFAIK Cross HQ is still USA based. So I suggest visiting their US website for contact info.

What do these musical instrument makers have to do with Cross?

IIRC, they ended production in 2008. Hunting for NOS is the only option and that too is remote as we are a decade out.
