Siemens Safety Filler - Who Made It?

I had cross posted in Montblanc and the prevailing opinion seems to be that the pen looks very much Montblanc like, but there definitely details that do not match.

 

The nib could be a replacement, the feed does not match, the turning knob has no pin, the thread has two entry points not four and so on

 

....and I have learned how to post the photos, so they show up here.

 

Any other German maker of that period?

The box has the Siemens-Halske logo so I would assume Siemens. S-H have produced a sundry of items since their inception in the mid 19th century to present from radios to aircraft engines to trains to electronics. Perhaps some of the German pen forums can help identify this pen. Nice pen!

 

edit: I just read the responses to your post in the Mont Blanc forum and I would have to agree that the pen was most probably made for Siemens, still I too would like to know who.
