So would Pelican 4001 Blue Black be safe for a little Pilot 95S 18K or 14K pen or similar Platinum short?

Thanks!

Pelikan 4001 Blue Black has so little iron gall in it that it will be safe in any pen. Those Platinum short pens that resemble Pilot Elites were designed for Platinum's Blue Black which is also iron gall. The original reason for the gold nibs was actually to prevent corrosion from the iron gall which happens with steel nibs.

Registrar's inks with lots of IG (such as ESSRI) and some of the more concentrated KWZ inks, are another story.
