Though new to the joy of writing with a fountain pen (less than a year), I am falling down the rabbit hole fast! I inherited my Grandfather's Parker Vacumatic and before investing in restoring it I decided to see if I'd even enjoy writing with a fountain pen. 19 fountain pens and 14 bottles of ink later, I'm now looking for a well-skilled, reasonably priced, vintage pen restorer who can return my Grandfather's pen to it's former glory. Recommendations, testimonies, and referrals are most welcome. Cheers!

You could try Indy-Pen-Dance and Fountain Pen Hospital, they have fountain pen restore and repair services. Same as you, I inherited a Parker 51 Vacumatic from my Grandfather. I'm fortunate he had been taking good care of it and had it serviced before he passed on. :happy: Hope you get your Parker 51 restored. Goodluck and welcome!

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. Get thee up to Houston, Rice Blvd and Dromgooles. Pick a Saturday when the Pen Doctor is in.

I am much blessed to have stewardship of heirloom fountain pens from friends and family.

I entrusted my vintage Parker Duofold Senior to Danny Fudge for restoration, some years ago.

I would gladly do it again. He restored several Duofold Juniors that I gave as gifts to others.

Found an old 1938 Vacumatic in my dad's old desk. Sent it to "The Write Pen" to get it restored.

Pretty fast turn around and decent price. That's Danny Fudge as indicated above.
