Ink Review: Diamine Orange

Thanks for the excellent review! Diamine Orange is one of my favorite orange inks. The early formulations were more prone to nib crud, but the more recent ones (with the black label and top) have been extremely well-behaved in my experience.

No harm meant.... but I doubt that Diamine's change of bottles and boxes is at all connected with a reformulation of the inks. THis orange may be an exception, and if so, it'd likely have to do simply with a dilution (which should be easy to detect in comparison with older lots). Crud in oranges, reds and yellows has to do with the concentrations and solubilities of those dyes....

When I unscrewed the cap of my Omas Orange there was orange dust around the bottle threads....

Good to hear (and see). Omas's looks "just" as proper as your Diamine. Interestingly, IMO both look more orange than the Blaze, which looks definitely more yellow (contrary to the finding of Uncial in Post #15).

It's very orange when writing as opposed to swabs. I just liked the nice shading you get with Blaze Orange. The standard Orange is a bit flat.
