Which pen would you be interested in, if I may ask. I am in dilemma since both the classic and the Solitaire are solid fountain pens with different designs and of course, the filling systems. I am assuming youre going for the fountain pens.

Nice. The reader seems to be reading blank pages. Is she holding the Little Prince notebook?

OK... so I took the plunge and ordered the resin LeGrand with a fine nib from Appelboom. I really want it, I'm sure I would have walked out of the boutique with it so why wait? :)

Hopefully, I'll have it by the end of the week, fingers crossed!

If you look carefully, there is something printed on the page that she has open. There are printed words on the previous page as well.

The reader is under strong white theater lighting (look at her forehead and hair) which would reflect strongly off of a white page in a book.

-- Joel -- "I collect expensive and time-consuming hobbies."

INK (noun): A villainous compound of tannogallate of iron, gum-arabic and water,

chiefly used to facilitate the infection of idiocy and promote intellectual crime.

(from The Devil's Dictionary, by Ambrose Bierce)

Thank you, Kalessin. Perhaps I was so focused on the special edition notebook, I thought the reader was holding it.

Yes Kalessin is correct, She was reading from the English pop up version of The Little Prince and the lights were very very strong.

The Montblanc website indicates a complimentary tote bag and the book with purchase of Little Prince pen(s). The book appears to be with the colored artwork of the author.

It seems the offer is only available on the US website of Montblanc. On the Belgium or French store there is not this offer.

Youre correct. Shouldnt the company take a standard approach, though? I am just wondering. Perhaps its about publishing/copyrights.

Yes maybe the reason but I think it is just in France that the book is not free of copyright but sometime there is some offer on the web store of MB (wallet free, etc.) and maybe the different countries are free to decide of them.

Or maybe they think that everybody in Europe already has a copy so now it`s US's turn :D I've just checked German website, the same as for France, Belgium. No free gift.

I picked up my Little Prince Resin 146 at a MB Boutique today — it is truly beautiful and I am looking forward to inking it up! I also purchased the notebook and some cartridges. I received additional goodies including a bag (well done), a paperback copy of the book, notecards, and a sucker. Photos tomorrow.

Congratulations! It would be helpful to know if the Resin 146 and the Solitaire have similarities or subtle differences in terms of their color intensity/richness.

Here are a couple photos. I am so pleased with the blue resin unfortunately blottingpaperforlife I really did not compare the two pens, so I cannot offer much help about the color differences. This Boutique was already sold out of the notebooks. I didnt buy the bottled ink but I am starting to think I may do that! The whole roll out of the product line has been so much fun to see.

Thank you for sharing this and congratulations on the acquisition! Enjoy all of them to the fullest!

I myself have ordered the resin 146 and can't wait to have it shipped, hopefully before the end of next week. I passed on the other content (notebook and ink), but I hope I'll get the bag, book, and lolly as well! :D
