Seek a replacement from Visconti? Not sure what kind of cost but if this happened to mine (I do have the exact pen!) I would work at finding a way to fix or replace!! :o

How did it break? Did you drop the pen, or was there a weakness in the material that broke during normal operation of the cap (it looks like one of the stubs for the fastening system is on that broken piece)? If it happened during normal use, with no dropping, they may replace the cap easier than if it was user/gravity error.

 

I know you said you contacted them already, so I wish you luck. I've always found the Coles bunch to be a a helpful bunch, though I've not needed a repair.

Thanks for the good wishes. Unfortunately, it was entirely the fault of my clumsiness, and I've had it for more than two years, so it's out of warranty. Yes, one of the fastening stubs is on the broken part, so it may have been a structural weakness. It's a wood floor, and I've dropped pens on it before, and I've never had one break. It must have just been how it landed.
