Stylomine Nib And Feed Removal

The nib and feed on one of my Stylomine 303s have significant damage and I need to remove them to get a better look at and potentially replace them. However, I can't seem to get them to come out. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? They are stuck pretty firmly in place.

Thanks!

The nibs are friction fit & have to be knocked out.

If the section is not HR you might soak it for awhile before ...

... Flush it first and then heat the section with a hair dryer.

In case the breather tube is stuck in the feed: I use a hollow metal tube with which I knock the feed out without damaging the tube.

How do you knock it out without damaging the accordian sac?

Obviously you`ll have to remove it first. IT´s been shellaced to the nipple.

It can be cautiously pried off without damage & later re-shellaced
