I hadn't even seen this pen until you mentioned it... wow is that a beauty... I would have been crushed if any of my pens had been stolen... good luck and glad you were able to find one!

The second time, I lost the bid but the winner didn't follow through and the pen went back on auction. I was surprised I didn't get a "Second Chance" offer, as I was the next highest bidder, but I ended up winning it - for $30 less than my previous bid!

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I think the martiniauctions.com auction software (or perhaps its administration) isn't quite the same as eBay's auction software... :)

All's well that ends well. I won the auction for the Ruby Red M600 on the Martini Auctions site, so I'll soon have my replacement in hand.

Congrats! Enjoy it. Thats a hard one to replace so glad it worked out.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.
