Ahhh what a lovely pen -- sadly, more than I would ever pay though!

"Why me?"
"That is a very Earthling question to ask, Mr. Pilgrim. Why you? Why us for that matter? Why anything? Because this moment simply is. Have you ever seen bugs trapped in amber?"
"Yes."

Would love to see one in person, though I have to pass on owning one.

Wait three years until the next Depression, I bet you can get it NOS for half price. ;)

Beautiful pen, and will surely hold its value long term given the limited run. But at 3000 Euros, I couldn't even think about it. Even at 10% of that it would be beyond my budget. ($150 USD is my most expensive to date)

How very disappointing! I'm glad i decided to invest in the Raden Royal Gold.

I see what you did there...

Well, it can't be a MB LE -- it's relatively tasteful! ;) OTOH, it's actually kinda boring looking for something designed commemorate a momentous occasion like that.

Truthfully, even if I could afford a pen that expensive, I wouldn't get one because that would be way too large and heavy for me (especially if it's sized like an M1000).

The real question, of course would be "What's the LE ink to go with the pen gonna be?" Silver grey, maybe? I'd definitely buy a grey/silver Edelstein ink....

If I buy one do I have to drink Courvoisier and Coke? :yikes:

The best that I've heard it said is, and I'm paraphrasing here, "180 years and this is the best that they could come up with?"

Thanks for sharing!

So uninspired and ugly. Especially that nib!

Agreed. The three diamonds are the crowning touch.

Yeah...looks like a free promo pen to me with that writing on the barrel. And such an unsophisticated font...
