Lamy Z24 Converter

I recently got myself a lamy aion, assuming it would come with a converter (it didn't) so I (stupidly) bought a converter (z24), not realising that the aion only takes a z26. Does anyone know if it is possible to simply file off the plastic bits on the z24, and make it work with my aion?

Yes, no problem. Slide a knife along the converter and whip them off nice and close. Should be fine. If not, get a Z27 (the Z26 is discontinued).

thanks! i ended up using a nail file to remove the plastic bits, but i'm a bit worried about it leaking, so i'm going to buy a z27. Thanks!
