My print copy arrived today in Mumbai from Germany. The address was written by hand instead of a printed label. Nice touch. Nice format.

My print copy arrived today. I also find the hand written address a nice touch.

Also interesting is the Lamy postage stamp.

The German postal service offers a service for companies and individuals to get your own, personal post stamps. On A4 or on roll. Quite similar does the Austrian postal service. I guess many postal services in Europe offer this these days.

Hi all,

I got mine last mine last week... but haven't got a chance to read it yet. When I opened the page and saw the full-page spread on Morrison in German... I gulped... :o ...but turning the page... I was relieved to find the article duplicated in English. :headsmack:

But has anyone here actually read the articles yet? What'dya think?

I'm hoping to read mine this coming weekend... with Easter last weekend... I was booked pretty solid.

Be well all. :)

- Anthony

BTW, the hand-written address was a nice touch... I just hope they used Lamy ink...

Honestly, it's like most of these in-house publications, there is a limit to how much interest can be plucked out of the subject. The app/paper combination was cute but - unless I was too dim to understand it - pretty pointless.

Morrison's interview was quite bland. I liked the interview with the production manager more. The little colour pieces on pens and travel were OK but my wife brings home about 10 magazines a month with names like 'Positive Mindful Quinoa Diary' that carry similar articles.

I wish there was room for a bit of controversy in the subject, like 'Why does the cap not post Jasper?, Tell me why?' or 'Pens with razor sharp metal bits, learn to love the danger'.

Less is More - Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

Less is a Bore - Robert Venturi

I read the online edition. I agree the Morrison interview was bland. The pen/travel pieces were to me too short; I would have liked more content and depth.

Hi Aiden, ES, et al,

Yeah, I see... basically a lot of fluff pieces. :(

Well, I'll give it a perusal this coming weekend, all the same, I guess.

Thanks.

Hi Aiden, et al,

Is this a free publication?

I provided my name and address for a print version and hit submit... and it came back that my order was successful... but I never gave any payment info.

Me too!

Ha Ha!

Gotta love Lamy.

  • 1 month later...

They are giving the printed copies out in the local LAMY branches in my city.

If your city has one, you may try looking for a copy there :)
