Pilot 350Ml Ink Mixing

Being happy, but perhaps a bit foolish, in buying over a liter of Pilot ink in the 350mL bottles:

I thought I'd see if the mixes would make for anything more interesting:

And I'm happy to say, since I like purple and burgundy, the experiment is a success.

For non-printer people, K=Black ink. All the combinations work. I made up small vials of the dusky purple 2:1 Red:Black and the mostly Red with some Blue-Black (maybe 8:1). I'll let the vials sit for a while before trusting the mixes in fancy pens, but no immediate issues.

Edit: That BB+K must have had some red in it. Here's some mixes of those two uncontaminated:

OMG, this was awesome Thank you for sharing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Really wish they'd offer yellow and blue in here, then we'd be close to a giant CMYK set. Pilot BB is my workhorse, I'm getting close to halfway down one of those tanker bottles.

Dang! I really like the dark purple resulting from the BB+K mix contaminated with red.

Would it be possible for you to run a water resistance test with these mixes?

I haven't mixed it, but let some BB evaporate a bit (about 1/3). Looks great.

Seeking a Parker Duofold Centennial cap top medallion/cover/decal.
My Mosaic Black Centennial MK2 lost it (used to have silver color decal).

Preferably MK2. MK3 or MK1 is also OK as long as it fits.
Preferably EU.

From what I see in front of me writing with Diamine's Chopin, I'd say 1:1 BB+K and ~1/10th part of red in it would make a good saturated version of it, waterproof too.

life is nothing if you're not obsessed.

Like that violet on the lower right. Must be some red in it.

Wonder what yellow would go with to make greens and browns.
