Moonman Wancai Mini: A Beautiful Acrylic Pocket Pen

I have a Wancai in the same blueish-green as Jazavac.

I replaced the nib with a Medium Diplomat Magnum nib. I love those - they are surprisingly springy.

The Wancai nib went out without issue, but sometimes those things are a real pain to pull out.

I have been battleing a Moonman M2 nib off and on for almost two weeks now and so far, it has resisted all of my attempts to remove it.

How did you get it out?

Nevermind, problem solved. I'll update you all soon.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

This is the one I have. Isn't it coke bottle?

Now I am wanting this version too.

Oh, for those interested, eBay has listings for O rings when you search for Moonman Wancai. Here is what they listed for size: 8x1.2mm. The listing is for 20 O rings, so the 8 probably needed mm by it I’m guessing.

I was enjoying it and then work got in the way.

You will not regret getting this cute little pen. Which color did you choose? I bet De Atramentis Mint Turquoise would be a good choice for the version I got.

I bought one of these (it's cute!) & I am thinking of what ink might look cool. Any suggestions?

Also, I can report that after over six months inked with kon peki, it hasn't stained at all. The acrylic in this pen is superb.

I put a dark ink in my: Diamine Eclipse.

I have Diamine Soft Mint, De Atramentis Mint Turquoise and J Herbin Vert Reseda that might have matched.

Really though, matching ink to pen can be good, but it’s also good to put a more surprising color ink in a demonstrator.
