Pelikan Pelikano P10 And Twist P20 Worth It?

I recently stumbled upon a classified listing for NOS stationery items, among those, there are some Pelikan Pelikano P10 fountain pens and some Pelikan Twist P20 ballpoint/ fountain pen sets. According to the seller these products were manufactured sometime in the late 80s or early 90s and all have their original boxes, cartridges and documentation.

I really don't have much of an experience with Pelikan pens, so I would like to know if both of these pens are good buys or if I should look somewhere else?

They are going for about $20 and I plan to use them as everyday writers.

Thanks for your advice!

The P10 came out around 1986 and the P20 followed in 1988. Both were pens targeted to youngsters. No frills. The P20 has more complex colors. Both are steel nib cartridge pens. You can expect a dependable writing experience but nothing fancy. Value is hard to judge but $20 isnt unreasonable in my opinion for boxed pens.

NIB (new in box) $20 seems reasonable. I paid just under that for a 120 Merz & Krell on ebay once upon a time. Had some brassiing. No box, no papers. I would give it a go. Worst case you aren't out that much. Since they were intended as school pens (as was the 120 and 120 M & K) you could always pass them on to a student....
