Thank you for sharing this. I must admit I hadnt heard much of them before I went to my first pen club meeting where a member let me try hers. I went to their site, and found what I think she had, and really want to buy one. Its in my plans.

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting.

I don't know a lot about their pens, but I keep looking at their line of inks at pen shows.

I do too Ruth, but I haven't seen any real world sampling yet on line.

Our local pen club is going to take a tour of their factory in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait!

Very cool. Will you be able to take and post photos?

I have bought 4 of their pens over the years and all are excellent. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I'll take photos and post them if they let us. We'll have to see. I can at least give a written account. I might have to take some money along as well. You know, just in case...

  • 2 months later...

My anticipation level of getting my first F-C pens is by now only slightly ahead of my frustration level of waiting for them to be in stock. I have a hunch they really are able - and maybe willing? - to only supply the stock they sell at pen shows and really little more. They are just constantly out of stock.

Oh, I know this of myself

I assume as much for other people

We’ve listened more to life’s end gong

Than the sound of life’s sweet bells

I can commiserate. I waited nearly three months for the Red Garnet 1901 to come back into rotation :o
