Finally added a Black 146 and Bordeaux 146 next to my 147 & 149. The drawer is now complete.

@omarcenaro It is lovely to behold a stellar composition and organisation such as this.  Thank you for sharing the culmination of what one can surmise was very satisfying project. Congratulations on your collection!

Great solution @omarcenaro and a nice piece of furniture to start with.

Thank you sir and you have a good eye. It’s a Biedermeier from Austria. My wife’s family is from Austria. My father-in-law was an International Banker. This desk went from Austria to San Francisco and then to London and then back to Austria. Every drawer can be locked so the desk has lots of keys and it’s the only way to pull open the drawer. My father-in-law gifted me the desk a few years back and I had it shipped from Austria to Houston, Texas where it will now stay and be passed on along with the pens to our children. 78C9D5E8-733D-43B6-A767-818816D87D28.thumb.jpeg.35e346587dd9dcf265acf5864fa5d433.jpeg60C3EFD3-A0F8-4E1C-A1A1-EA7D478B6605.thumb.jpeg.722d456d3c8891fded2b9dce258e5283.jpegF75E2008-B920-44C1-98CC-73F9BCC1C9BF.thumb.jpeg.4052fb34c3458d675526838b375f7c4c.jpeg

None of us knows how long he shall live or when his time will come. But soon all that will be left of our brief lives is the pride our children feel when they speak our names.
