Adding To The Flock -2018

I briefly owned an ocean swirl before selling it off. It was a nice pen, but considering that I want to keep less than 10 pens, it wasn't upto the mark.

What a beauty! I especially like that it's not transparent, like the all-white one. As so many others have said, I'd love to get one but it's beyond my means atm. :(

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

A package from Fritz-Schimpf arrived today, containing a Raden Royal Gold and an Iconic Blue M120, both with fine nibs, and both very beautiful.

Now to smuggle them into the house . . .

More than half my flock had to be smuggled in. Let me know if you need any tips ;-)

They just don't understand. I justify it by thinking about how much she pays for haircuts, facials, makeup and the drawers full of products that keeps her looking so cute. . In the end I still spend less... And I still sneak a pen in here and there.

I purchased this Pelikan 5-pen pouch at Maruzen Shimbashi Tokyo last few days ago. I currently own a 1, 2, 3 & 4-pen pouch & this one will be a great addition for my M800 old style pens retention ie. Green Striated, Blue Striated, Red Striated, Black & Tortoiseshell. It is not available in my country & I believe this pouch is limited to Japan or may be some other countries.

Another one; not a pen but in the form of vintage cufflinks. Not sure it was given to purchaser or Pelikan staff or whether it was even commissioned by Pelikan - anyone knows its origin? The logo looks Pelikan indeed.

Neato Keen cufflinks. Just the thing to wear to a pen show!! Bought a Pelikan 100 with a CN nib on our classifieds. Decent price and condition. I have a Sailor Relo coming soon from Mottishaw to add to my "other" pens.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing cufflinks at a pen show. Fishing vests, fright wigs, shorts all the way up to the man boobs, yes--cufflinks, no.

Sounds like Wal-Mart... maybe I can skip going to a pen show after all :lticaptd:

But... I thought you had to dress up to go to Wal-Mart!

After what seemed to be an eternity without adding a bird (ok, about a month...), I woke up too early this morning and saw an interesting auction ending. So, now I have a green striped M450 OBB en route! Trouble is... my wife is trying to claim it to her collection! Any lawyers around?

Oh, that's a tough one... OBB and gold...mmmmmm :P

You could haggle. "Well, maybe I can let you have this one, for the M800 Orange coming up and an MB to be named later" ;)

Hmmm... You may be on to something, BillH!

And, since I like orange pens, maybe that MB "to be named later" could be an "old" orange one :P

1930s Pelikan 100 in super minty condition.

One of my favorites. I enjoyed mine today, with Diamine Blood Orange. Excellent combination. If you don't already have, you have some great writing ahead of you.
