Quick little review of my new Franklin-Christoph Model 03.

 

I usually get fine or extra-fine nibs but oh man! Im loving this broad!

 

Pen - Franklin-Christoph Model 03 Ghost &Smoke

Nib - Matsuyama Broad Cursive Italic

Ink - Pelikan Edelstein Aventurine

The correct name spelling is Masuyama. I have B-CI currently on Model 19 and love it with all my heart.

My bad on the name. Spelling is not my strong suit. I also have a fine cursive italic that I adore equally if not more.

And you should try Christoph Music Nib, speciality of the house :) . I have thought it will be unusably wide, but in a fact it is pure fun.

I just ordered my second pocket 20 and I almost got the music nib but instead picked the 1.5 calligraphy italic. This broad nib kick is new to me. Im an ef guy mainly. Im having fun though.

Hello,

This model is gorgeous. But i think all the Franklin Christoph products are gorgeous. Hard to be objective and even more so after my fourth model.

I plan to buy this model but I hesitate between Ghost and Emerald. Did you try to ink it in eye dropper mode ?

I would be personally curious to see the color rendering at the body level with this Ghost color.

If you do, I'm interested (and I think I'm not the only one) of some pictures :)
