@Incongruent - That's one way to use a flex nib! Fantastic.

The pen is a 6 mm Pilot Parallel for everything except “you can” and “Pablo Picasso” and the immediate flourishes.

 

The Spencerian is nice. You might want to try shading fewer areas (at most one for each lowercase letter, use one of the examples like Lessons in Ornamental Penmanship [On IAMPETH]), touching up the corners of the shades on d and t afterwards, and dotting the i’s with a tick rather than a circle.

David, your gothic is a source of inspiration. I still don't dare trying to practice it since I'd like to improve my italic first.

Thank you for jotting down the tools you use, your pen collection is stunning and I'm always in search of colors to add to my ink wish list. (this brown is lovely, of course it's from BB..)

This thing is huge.... 158 mm capped. By far my largest pen. B nib. The photo was oriented correctly when I attached it. Not sure what happened.

I, unfortunately, do not know anything about Evangeline and Longfellow except «The song of Hiawatha», so this is a redrawed illustration from the Internet and training\exercise for hands and eyes.
