Incongruent: good technique, but "you can" was slightly lost in the general array.

Wow. That's fabulous, Andrew_L.

I do have a technical question: was the writing done with white ink or was it done with a frisket mask, and then removed after being painted over?

Thanks.
Yep, it's maked with liquid mask ink Pebeo and dip nib and after end of the work is removed with office gum. Regards, Andrew.

Andrew_L, your work is stunning as usual!

Very weird quote. Thank goodness the stuff of our imagination can't be all real, we would be in a lot of trouble then. The human nature contains dreadful, blood-curling aspects that I hope never ever can become real.

Thanks.

This quote can not exist separately from the speaker :). You need to understand who was Pablo Picasso and through this understanding need look on the quote. Of course, there are many things in the world that do not need to be realized and people are also very different in the world.

Cool David! What is wonderful blue-cyan ink? Edelstein Topaz?

Thanks, Andrew!

The blue ink is Robert Oster "Bondi Blue." It has a moderate red sheen that is very nice.

David - Beautifully done. Uncial and Italics. Where's the Gothic we so long for?

Claudia - Italics is coming along very nicely. On some running hand of the italic form, the "o" is jointed. I see that you opt for this rendition.

Andrew - Thanks for the compliment. I am still learning everyday. So much mistakes and so much more to learn. Your drawing is just fantastic....the cross hash are just perfect!

@Countrydirt - I love this style of italics.

@Incongruent - That's one way to use a flex nib! Fantastic.

Me...I am trying hard to hide my mistakes. Still learning...

Thanks, _IF.

I cannot imagine why you would long for my gothic script, but you asked for it.

David, your gothic is a source of inspiration. I still don't dare trying to practice it since I'd like to improve my italic first.

Thank you for jotting down the tools you use, your pen collection is stunning and I'm always in search of colors to add to my ink wish list. (this brown is lovely, of course it's from BB..)

InkyFingers, thank you for the kind words!
