The initial majuscule in the second quotation is in the obscure French script, "Saucisson," a variation of the porcine script, "Charcuterie."

I like the script you used for the Louis L'amour quotation a lot! It "flows." Is it a named style, or is it of your own invention?

Thank you David - I found that script in one of the Compendiums I think. Unfortunately I forgot to print a copy and have not been able to find the reference for some time so I mostly just do it from memory. I am sure I will run across it one of these days and will share it with you.
