It will be on its way on Monday to me...so hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday I will have the pen in my hands...cant wait for it. Montblanc is out of stock...not sure how Dennis tracked one down via Montblanc...

It was the same for mine too but my friend reseller has also good contact with Montblanc so I think there are still some boutiques around the world with one in stock and they send it back to Hamburg or something like that. I hope you won't have the issue I had with the box that had the wrong number compared to the number on the pen.

In a first time the reseller sent back the box to MB with some photos and around 3 months later MB requested I sent back the pen too. So after that it took also around 3 more months before I received back the box with correct number and my pen back.

thank you It is heavier than the regular Special Edition JFK. Would have thought it is almost the same. I don't mind though

Yes and there is also this one as patriotic pen:
