That is quite true. I use to avoid any nib widths wider than a B thinking that I'd be forced to write quite 'big'. Then I read some of your posts and figured I should try one. Loving the BBs and OBBs.

 

I know my next purchase will be an OBB nib!

Such a great looking nib! Congratulations.

 

Did you purchase the pen with a BB nib on it, or did you have to send it in for a nib exchange? If exchanged, how long did it take?

I haven’t inked my new Mark Twain yet, but it feels a lovely pen. I received some Noodler’s North African Violet in the post today and will look forward to trying that, at the weekend.

Thanks.

It was only available in M size so I sent it for an exchange. Unfortunately the boutiques in India do not have any size apart from F or M.

The exchange took almost 3 months.

The Monte Rosa is here and writes wonderfully . I inked it yesterday with some ancient Skrip in green and it writes just a hair dry but there is no skipping just not as wet and bright as some others I have used this ink in . With the D nib ( seems medium ) it will be a good match for the small cheap notebooks I always carry in my shirt pocket . Would have preferred a Fine with some flex but for the money I won't complain . It was so clean I could not soak any ink out of it , not sure it had ever been inked . No scratches or brassing that I can find .

Same here. It doesn't seem to be on or near the clip like the other Montblanc pens. Not sure if that's normal for the POA line.
