Poor Pravda. Your 149 has been in storage so long it is falling apart and has lost all its black precious resin. It has wasted away to its skeletal base. Better send that to MB service right quick!

 

Since is it almost 20 years old, if they cannot service it I can help you with a resin 75th 149 parts swap, you know out of the goodness of my heart.

Thank you my friend, but I actually bought it back in 2009 complete NIB set. Does need a lot of cleaning now that I think about it

Thank you Tom. Yes, it is a orange circle: according to Montblanc’s wording, “A discrete ring of orange on the forepart pays homage to Marc Newson’s distinctive signature colour. This contrasts with the ruthenium-coated elements of cap, clip, trim and the forepart of the handcrafted Au 585 gold nib”.

90 Years Anniversary Permanent Grey ink

Shakespeare ink

Meisterstuck Diamond ink

And 4 ballpoint refills

 

Most of these I had, but the discount tempted me to start hoarding :/

Richmont owned boutiques offer me a little 'allowance' for my loyalty, sometimes/rarely. The franchise owned ones have discounts all year round and the outlet naturally so.

Recently acquired another grail pen, the Martelé. Im going to wait for the weekend to open the packet and play with the nib. Am I still constrained to six weeks for an exchange? Its not limited but its definitely special. Im tempted to go for a B.

Brand newAntoine Saint-Exupéry with a BB nib.

145 with an OBB nib

344 with a B nib and engraved star (as opposed to the other one I have with the white star)

149 that will have to be sent to MB for repairs since almost every component is broken.

252 which will be my first 2xx pen.
