It happened to have the same number with both 4810 and 888, how could I not to take them home together? Besides the 888 doesn't look like just an upgraded version but like a whole new one.

A lovely photo.

Destiny was against you so a surrender to both was the only reasonable option! :)

Hello,

How much was the nib exchange?

The nib on my Christie is a M, but is a little too fine and could do with some work... rather than have it attended to by a nib worker, I might just have MB exchange it for something different.

Thanks,

I just picked up my this nib exchange, which I had to pay for, but it only took 11 days including postage to and from hamburg. My last purchase until I see this years WE.

I found a nice coral red danish MB 25, it´s a push button filler, and made between 1935 and 1946.

Unfortunately it´s got the wrong clip, but i hope to find the right papyrus clip some day.

The german version has a straight cap and a big star, whereas the danish one has a tapered cap and a smaller star, the german version on the right side (with the right clip).

Not a pen but a desk ink blotter:

It seems that Montblanc will stop producing desk accessories so people could be interested by one of the product of this collection from Montblanc will have to decide soon. The info is coming from my reseller.

Your reseller could be right. I had the opportunity to try one of their notepads (ID 06711), a gift from a friend of mine. The cover of the notepads is a high quality blotting paper. The papers are cream colored/off white.

These are not available now, and when I asked the boutiques their response has not been very encouraging.

A couple of days ago, I took home a Montblanc purchase that comes with a key!

No, it's not a car. I wish. But a very nice Collector's box that honestly is long overdue :)

The wood is of exceptional quality. I am not sure what type, but it reminded me of the rosewood that Christofle uses.

It houses 20 writing instruments- in 2 floors that are removable- whereas they can be placed flat on a writing table then placed inside the casing once done.

The star on the key I found to be a very nice detail.

I was also happy to bring home another fountain pen :)

The packaging is definitely an upgrade from the previous models. They're gradually getting better at it, the blue lacquer box is gorgeous!

I have got that box as well - it is nice but not produced anymore as far as I know. So only available from stock...

And the UNICEF - I knew you could not resist ;)

Congratulations on the box Pravda. I must admit I was surprised to find you did not already have one to home your fine pens. Now they have a nice little home to nestle into.

The SE skeleton collection is now up to date and awaiting this year's entry. :)

I purchased another 149 from a fellow member here earlier today. The fact it has my favorite nib width tipped the scales after a few days of thinking.
