Is "month-end" two words, or just one word, when applied to this thread?

sometimes people, including me, use hyphenation then count it as only one word where it makes sense, or two because that covers what they needed. So long as the hyphenation is not contrived, it is OK so far as I know.

Very recently I wrote "-livet" after Pakman wrote "glen" so technically we had only five words between us. Esoteric and immaterial.
